Yoga

Start your day with morning yoga at Catch-A-View Deck overlooking the Pacific.

Morning Yoga: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays | 9:30–10:30 AM

  • $12/person - includes mats, blocks, towels and mushroom heaters on chilly mornings.

  • Change of location due to rain will be posted at dinner and texted to campers 30 minutes before the session begins

Massage

Relax with a deep tissue massage designed to recharge your body and enliven your soul.

  • We offer a selection of massage experiences (see menu below) in both 60 and 90 minute appointments

  • Our massages are designed to relax muscles, release tension, reduce inflammation, and stimulate healing

  • Robes are available in the office for pickup before your massage

Forest bathing

Shinrin-yoku, hiking, a walk in the woods … whatever you call it, moving through the forest leaves you grounded and calm.

River time

Leave your stress on dry land. Rent a canoe at Catch-A-Canoe-&-Bicycles-Too, right next door to Mendocino Grove.

  • Steady outrigger canoes take you up river for up to 10 miles into undeveloped wilderness

  • Most boats accommodate 2-4 paddlers

  • Dog-friendly canoes available

  • Watch for wildlife like river otters, harbor seals, great blue herons, and deer

Local Beaches

Time by the ocean is a great way to unplug.

  • Spacious and sandy, Big River Beach is a 3 minute drive across the bridge and right below the town of Mendocino for easy access to picnic provisions

  • Caspar Cove is 5 miles north and offers a smaller, sheltered beach that’s great for kids and snorkeling

  • Van Damme beach is a few miles south and popular with kayak tours.
