Mendocino Grove was created with a simple idea
spending time in nature should feel easy, restorative, and accessible.
Founded in 2016 by Chris Hougie and Teresa Raffo, this couple thoughtfully transformed an abandoned campground into a modern outdoor retreat. Their vision was to remove the drawbacks of camping so others could comfortably relax and enjoy Mendocino’s coast.
As a family-owned business, they have spent over a decade creating a welcoming, intentional glamping experience where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience one of the most beautiful coastlines in Northern California.
