Keeping Our Campers Comfy Since 2016
Amenities at Mendocino Grove
For a lot of people, camping conjures images of cold feet finding grit at the bottom of a sleeping bag. Or nose-offending bathrooms with coin operated showers. Or struggling for way too long to get an ultimately disappointing campfire to start. If you pine for time in the great outdoors but are looking for toasty feet, effortless campfires, luxury sheets, and hot showers with organic bath products, glamping at Mendocino Grove is for you. Campers stay clean and comfy while surrounded by the beautiful beaches, forests, and headlands of Northern California’s Mendocino Coast.
Campfires
At Mendocino Grove, every tent has its own fire ring so you can relax around the campfire—a gathering spot for just you and yours.
Firewood is for sale at the camp store for $12 a bundle and delivered to your camp.
Our complimentary fire valets are on call and ready to get the flames going in no time so you can spend your stay enjoying the fire rather than coaxing it into existence.
S’mores kits are available for purchase to make those glamping memories sweet.
Sleep Tight
After a day on the trails, in town, on the beach, or all three, we have everything you need for a perfect night’s sleep so you can drift off to the distant sound of waves or the soft shushing of wind through the trees.
Comfy heated beds are made specially with crisp cotton linens and a down comforter.
Choose between firm or soft pillows for maximum cushiness.
Tents are spaced 10-20 feet apart to give everyone some breathing room.
All tents include a roomy front deck with chairs, providing a good place to remove shoes and layers that may have brought some dirt back from the trails.
The tents are clustered into different neighborhoods—perfect for a getaway with multiple families or a large group of friends.
No matter where you stay at Mendocino Grove, you’ll wake up rested and ready for a cup of freshly brewed coffee in the Meadow Commons.
Bathhouses
Mendocino Grove has two beautiful bathhouses located just a quick walk from your tent.
Revive at the end of the day with an indoor or outdoor hot shower.
EO Marin organic bath products add a little bit of luxury.
Well-appointed restrooms have nice lighting, fresh flowers, and plenty of stalls—even an oversized option for family clean-up.
Bathrooms are kept sparkling clean—and if you ever find them otherwise, our camp concierge is just a text away to set things right.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a charge for campfire valet service?
Our campfire valet service is complimentary and a great way to get your fire roaring in no time. We focus on the flames so you can focus on the fun.
Can we bring our own firewood?
County regulations prohibit using firewood sourced from out of the area. Please purchase firewood locally. We sell bundles for $12 each at the camp store and you can always text the concierge for more.
Do the bathrooms use outhouse-style (compostable) toilets or standard (water flush) toilets?
All toilets in our bathhouses are standard water flush toilets.
Do I need to pack my own towels?
You’ll find a basket of fresh towels in your tent so there’s no need to bring bath towels from home. We do ask you to keep our towels at the campground, so bring beach towels if you are planning a trip to one of the nearby beaches. The dog wash station has plenty of pet-designated towels for your dog.
Are the tents wheelchair accessible?
Yes we have tents in 3 different locations with ramps into the tents and furniture appropriately spaced and size for easy mobility. Are showers and toilet stalls are ADA compliant as well.
