Behind Obenski’s gripping vocals and thought provoking lyrics, you’ll notice influences from Motown and jazz with glimpses of 1960s folk-rock greats such as Carole King or Joni Mitchell. She is currently working on her seventh album in which she wishes to create “the sound of unfolding”. The recording will feature a full band (piano, bass, drums, electric guitar), a string quartet and an abundance of lavish harmonies.
