2026 Retreats

Coming Home to self through nature

2-Night Retreats at Mendocino Grove
June 5 - 7 | August 16 - 18 | October 9 - 11

Step away from the noise and return to yourself.

Coming Home invites you to reset and reconnect — with yourself, with nature, and with community. Through yoga, mindfulness practices, creative expression, and restorative rituals, guests are supported in slowing down, finding their breath, and returning home to themselves in the beauty of Mendocino Grove.

The retreat offers thoughtfully structured activities while still allowing plenty of spaciousness to relax and enjoy the amenities the campground has to offer—including the dry sauna, bocce courts, fire pits, and more.

This experience is perfect for solo travelers seeking connection, or for individuals who want to attend with a friend while enjoying the support of a gently guided retreat structure.

The Setting

We will stay in a dedicated area of Mendocino Grove immersed in coastal forest and fresh ocean air, with the intention of creating a sacred space within the campground just for retreat participants.

  • Access to shared gathering spaces: communal eating area for breakfast, bocce ball courts, meadow for hammock-time and stargazing

  • Beautiful glamping tents nestled among the trees

  • Communal bathhouses with dry sauna and open air redwood showers

  • Time outdoors surrounded by nature

Yoga and other offerings will be practiced in Mendocino Groves new geodesic dome, canopied by trees, with the sound of the ocean in the distance. Opportunities for outdoor practice will also be available on our elevated deck overlooking the trees and ocean (weather dependent).

Lunch and dinner will be shared together in our dedicated neighborhood within the campground, creating a rhythm of connection and ease.

What to Expect

All retreats will follow the same format, though there may be slight changes depending on the specialities of co-facilitators and the time of year (weather, etc.). All practices—including yoga, breath work, and sound healing—will generally be 60-75 minutes in length.

Who it’s for

  • Those craving intentional community with space for personal reflection

  • Anyone feeling overstretched, prone to overthinking, or navigating a season of transition

  • Busy professionals, creatives, and caregivers seeking a meaningful reset in nature

  • Lovers of coastal air, forest walks, and slower rhythms

  • Those curious about ritual, reflection, and soulful connection

  • Beginners and experienced practitioners alike

No experience is required—just an open heart and a willingness to arrive as you are. The retreat offers a thoughtfully guided structure, while always allowing space to rest, reflect, or engage at the level that feels supportive for you.

What’s Included

Your Guide

Katie Bilsky is Mendocino Grove’s resident yoga teacher, joining the team in 2025. She holds two 200-hour yoga teacher certifications and has been teaching for over four years, both internationally while traveling throughout Australia and at renowned retreat spaces such as the Esalen Institute in Big Sur.

Katie is known for creating intentional, welcoming environments where people can soften, reconnect, and leave feeling more like themselves. Her teaching style blends a playful, creative spirit with grounded guidance, allowing participants to explore their edges in ways that feel both liberating and supportive.

Her retreats balance structure with intuitive flow — weaving together movement, reflection, and spaciousness so guests feel both supported and free to fully experience the retreat.

Co-Facilitators

Co-facilitators will rotate throughout the retreat and will vary in specialization ranging from breath work facilitators, sound healers, hypnotherapist, professional chefs and more.

June: Amber Joy

Based in Santa Barbara, Amber Joy is a breathwork facilitator, sound healing practitioner, and 200-hour trained yoga teacher who is passionate about creating spaces for healing, connection, and self-discovery. She has been guiding breathwork and sound journeys for nearly four years, offering experiences at retreats, wellness gatherings, and private events, and has facilitated sessions at spaces such as the Bay Club, Esalen Institute, and The Mindry.

Known for her warm and grounded presence, Amber creates supportive environments where participants feel safe to slow down, release, and reconnect with themselves. Her sessions combine intentional breathwork and immersive sound to support emotional release, inner clarity, and deep relaxation.
